Academic Competition 2020

Early Dismissal
 
Thursday, January 30th will be a half day, and the school and offices will be closed on Friday, January 31st, as we host the ACEA Academic Competition.  Infant I, Infant II, Toddler I, and Toddler II will be available on Friday, but there will be no daycare for students in K3 or higher.  Early dismissals for Thursday is as follows:

Basketball Game at Providence Classical 12/9

Tonight we have two away games at Providence Classical.  The Junior High boys will play at 6:00pm, and the Varsity boys will play at 7:00pm.
 
Providence Classical rents a gym from Clements Baptist Church for their games, They want to be good guests, so they have sent us a few requests to pass along to those planning to travel for the game.

Legislative Update

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to attend the AACS Legislative Conference in Washington DC.  AACS is the American Association of Christian Schools, and as members we enjoy the benefits of having a full-time staff in Washington DC dedicated to the interests of Christian schools across the country.  We are thankful for these individuals and for the hard work they do every day.

Football Awards 2019

 
While the football season ended with a hard fought loss to Russell Christian Academy in the championship game, the accolades kept rolling in after the final whistle for several members of the team.
 
Senior Elijah McPherson was named an All-Conference offensive lineman as well as named the Offensive Player of the Year.
 
Senior Josiah Davis was named an All-Conference linebacker and an All-Conference running back.
 
Coach Keith Dabbs was named the Coach of the Year.
 
Congratulations to these guys and to the whole team for a great season.  Go Torches!


Homecoming Queen 2019

 
At our Homecoming game earlier this month, Emily Cox was crown the Homecoming Queen for 2019.  Junior Anna Grace Branham was the first runner up, and Sophomore Madilyn White was named second runner up.
 
Congratulations to these girls and to all the girls nominated to the Homecoming Court!
